We believe that the learning experience is enhanced significantly if the course content is customized to meet the needs of the target audience - we tailor our French and English courseware and training delivery to meet your specific requirements.
Unlike most companies that deliver project management training, we modify course content and create new case studies based on each client's needs assessment As a result, we have presented the core Comprehensive Introduction to Project Management Course in two, three, four and five-day versions to meet specific client requirements in both of Canada's official languages supported by three distinct case studies currently available.
In addition, we promptly update all of our courseware to reflect the latest edition of the PMBOK® Guide and the most recent feedback for course evaluations. No two courses that we have delivered have been the same.
Should you have specific requirements, our approach to tailoring the training will include the completion of a training needs assessment and subsequent customization of the appropriate course theory and exercises to meet the needs of your team.
Training Needs Assessment
The training needs assessment forms the core of our customization. The assessment is undertaken with an analysis to determine the specific requirements for the training. We achieve this by meeting with the client and appropriate managers within the organization to gain an appreciation of the types and scope of projects conducted. We then gather background information such as current project plans, processes, tools and techniques being used routinely, as well as the governance structures for these projects. We then define the scope of the requirement and confirm our assessment with the client. Using the training needs assessment outputs, the course content would be developed or our existing course offerings would be modified as discussed and agreed.
All of our project management courses and seminars remain up-to-date because our instructors retain their currency by providing other project management services offered by DAMA Consulting.
